Since 2013, Acnos Pharma has evolved from a local pharmaceutical supplier to an international partner in clinical supply. Explore the key milestones that shaped who we are today – and where we’re headed next.

2013 – At the Start

Acnos Pharmahandel GmbH is founded by a group of pharmacists to provide prescription medications to German pharmacies, healthcare facilities and wholesalers.

2015 – Becoming Established

Ownership expands to include experienced commercial pharmaceutical managers. A commercial office is opened in Berlin alongside the launch of the General Sales division and the company establishes its first warehouse with 30 m² of capacity.

2016 – Expansion

As demand grows, the warehouse is significantly expanded to over 400 m², allowing for greater storage capacity and operational flexibility.

2017 – Extending the Business

The Berlin office continues to grow, GDP compliance is achieved and a regulatory affairs unit is established. In addition, Acnos Pharma obtains licenses for handling controlled substances and veterinary medicines.

2018 – New Focus: Comparator Sourcing

A new department dedicated to comparator sourcing is launched, marking a strategic shift toward clinical trial support. Reflecting this evolution, the company is renamed from Acnos Pharmahandel to Acnos Pharma.

2019 – Preparing for the Future

Warehouse space is expanded once again, now reaching 1,700 m². Special customs storage is approved and regulatory systems such as the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) and 21 CFR Part 11 are implemented. Acnos Pharma also introduces a global corporate identity to reflect its growing international presence.

2020 – Strategic Partnership to Drive Global Expansion

Acnos Pharma enters into a strategic partnership with a leading global pharmaceutical expert to strengthen its presence in the U.S. and support international growth. This collaboration marks a key milestone in Acnos Pharma’s global expansion strategy.

2021 – Growing Our Network

Acnos Pharma continues to build international connections by expanding its professional and industry partnerships across key markets.

2022 – Clinical Services & Logistics Expansion

The company enhances its service portfolio by introducing expanded clinical trial support and advanced pharmaceutical logistics capabilities.

2023 – GMP License Achieved

Acnos Pharma reaches a major regulatory milestone by obtaining its GMP manufacturing license, reinforcing its commitment to quality and compliance.

2024 – European Footprint Grows

To meet rising demand, additional warehouse space is qualified in Belgium through a strategic partnership with Movianto, further expanding the company’s European storage capacity.

2025 – Digital Transformation

A customized CRM system is implemented to improve client service, streamline internal workflows and support continued growth through digital innovation.
